Faizah Latif is a Registered Social Worker licensed in Ontario and Quebec. She completed her Master’s of Social Work degree (MSW) from the University of Windsor. Faizah is currently the Clinical Director of her private practice, Duha Therapy, where she focuses on Muslim mental health. She works virtually with clients to deliver individual, couples and family therapy, and is involved in community projects.
Additionally, Faizah works as a Psychotherapist at Hello Leena, an organization providing mental health support for BIPOC individuals across Canada. She is also a Board Member at the Muslim Children’s Aid and Support Services (MCASS). She was recently named one of the top 40 Canadian mental health influencers through FeedSpot.
Faizah has developed work and volunteer experience serving children, youth and women populations, building resilience, collaboration and empowerment within these groups. She has a focus on supporting individuals with mental health needs, crisis support, counselling, facilitating support groups, and providing community resources to enhance the quality of life for the clients she works with. Within therapy work, Faizah focuses on supporting individuals struggling with anxiety, trauma, relationships, and emotion regulation.
